About Me.
Terrence Taylor - Owner
My journey in safety and security began in 2004 when I joined the U.S. Army as a Military Police Officer. Over 12 years of service, I rose to the rank of E-6 and gained extensive experience through deployments to Iraq, stateside natural disaster response, presidential inaugurations, base security operations, and training soldiers for overseas missions.

In 2007, I expanded my service to local law enforcement, working for one of Mississippi’s largest police departments, a college-town agency, and a K–12 school district police force. I’ve held leadership roles as a first-line supervisor and assistant police chief, always focused on community protection and officer development.

Beyond my military and police background, I’ve served as a short-term missionary, teaching and training in nearly 20 countries. I'm also a certified Krav Maga instructor, committed to empowering others through practical self-defense.

Now, through S-2 Security, I bring over two decades of global and domestic safety experience to schools, churches, and workplaces—offering tailored consulting, expert training, and proven strategies to help others stay prepared and protected.
Experienced Military Police NCO with 12 years of service, including deployment to Iraq, stateside disaster response, presidential security, and garrison law enforcement. Led and trained soldiers in combat readiness, security operations, and military policing. Proven leader in high-pressure environments with a strong commitment to mission success and troop development.
Seasoned law enforcement professional with experience in municipal, college-town, and K–12 school policing. Served with one of the state largest police departments and largest school district. Where I progressed to leadership roles including First-Line Supervisor and Assistant Police Chief. Skilled in patrol operations, community policing, department administration, and public safety leadership, with a strong focus on protecting and serving diverse communities.
Traveled to nearly 20 countries as a short-term missionary, sharing practical skills, faith-based teaching, and personal safety training. Taught diverse audiences in both urban and remote settings, empowering individuals through education, leadership development, and Krav Maga self-defense instruction. Passionate about building resilience, confidence, and community across cultures.
Certifications & Specialized Training
Extensively certified in public safety, emergency response, and organizational security. Credentials include First Aid & CPR/AED Instructor and Instructor Trainer, AVERT Instructor, Law Enforcement Self-Defense Instructor, and Police Chaplain. Also certified as a CERT Train-the-Trainer, Licensed Teacher, Physical Security Assessor, Access Control and Camera System Operator, and Organizational Safety System Developer. Experienced grant writer with a strong focus on securing resources for community safety initiatives.
